Please see below for information on the rates you should expect to pay for your project

Each project is different and the cost will depend on a variety of factors, from the number of words required, the amount of research needed and whether you want me to write from scratch or work on something you’ve already drafted together.

Once we’ve chatted and I understand more about your project, I will prepare a quotation which we will agree at the briefing stage.

A very rough guideline is £75 for a blog post of around 500 words, but please note that the cost can vary with complexity. I do offer payment plans with discounts if you’re looking for regular posts:

A: Monthly payment plan

Choose from 1, 2 or 4 blog posts (around 500 words each) per month.

B: One off payment for a series of blogs

Choose from a package of either 5 or 10 blog posts (around 500 words each)

Each project is different so, based on our discussion and your requirements, I will draft a proposal for you. This means that the price quoted will be fair and accurate, ensuring that you’re not paying for things you don’t need.

Prices start from around £1,500 for a small, simple website (5-6 pages).

You will also need to purchase a domain name (if you’ve not already) and a Squarespace subscription (monthly or annual) which, at the time of writing, start at £10 per month.

Virtual Support

Hourly rate: For virtual support, I charge an hourly rate of £30. My time gets tracked and rounded up or down to the nearest 15 minutes. A detailed time report is available when I send my invoice.

Project rate: Once we have discussed the individual project, we can decide whether to work on an hourly rate or a set project price.

Retainer rate: By pre-booking me for a set number of hours per month, your work takes priority over my ad-hoc clients. It also gives you control over your monthly budget. Through tracking my timings, I will let you know when you’re nearing your limit.

I accept payment in £GBP by bank transfer.

All payment details, including how to pay online are detailed on the invoice you will receive.

For most project work, I require a 50% deposit upfront in order to secure my time and to ensure that we are both committed to carrying out the project together.

The remaining fee is payable on completion of the project.
